مقبرة الملكة نفرتاري بوادي الملكات على الضفة الغربية للأقصر هي الزوجة المحبوبة لفرعون رمسيس الثاني ،
وهي امرأة جميلة صنع زوجها أجمل مقبرة على شرفها. جميع جدران المقبرة مزينة بنقوش ولوحات جدارية ذات جمال لا يضاهى ، تمثل الملكة وتتلقى التوجيه والإرشاد من الآلهة. تعتبر مقبرة نفرتاري من أفخم المقابر.
قبرها منسق ونقوشه من أجمل النقوش على جدران المقابر ، وتميز قبرها بجمال النقوش ودقتها وبراعة التصوير واستخدام الألوان الزاهية وعرضها. جمال وأناقة الملكة نفرتاري في صورها في المقبرة.
كانت نفرتاري (1300-1250 قبل الميلاد) الزوجة الملكية الرئيسية (أو الزوجة الرئيسية) لرمسيس الكبير. نفرتاري تعني الرفيق الجميل ، والاسم يترجم بمعانٍ مختلفة: "الحبيبة التي لا مثيل لها" أو "أجمل نساء العالم" أو أنها تشبه النجمة التي تظهر في بداية العام الجديد.
